Description

The TX7140 is an addressable (intelligent) manual call-point designed for fire alarm systems. It uses a micro-processor based design to provide unique addressing and full compatibility with intelligent fire panels.
The device features a non-breakable glass activation element (or hammerless press plate) and a clear LED indicator to aid location and status visibility.
It operates within the 16 V to 28 V DC range (nominal 24 V) and is compliant with the standard EN54‑11:2001 + A1:2005 for manual call-points.

Key Features

Addressable unit supporting digital addressing from 1 to 254 on compatible loop-systems.
Non-breakable glass or hammerless activation surface for safer operation.
LED indicator on front face: lights steady when activated, aiding location of an activated call point.
Very low standby current: approx 0.6 mA (24 V) and alarm current approx 1.8 mA.
Wide operating voltage range: 16 V to 28 V DC (nominal 24 V).
Dimensions approx. 89 mm × 93 mm × 35 mm; Weight ~102 g with base (~80 g without base).
Indoor use (Type A) with class EN54-11 listing, rated for –10 °C to +55 °C and up to 95 % RH non-condensing. Ingress protection approx IP43.
